John Davis collection.  On this small plate the celestines are highly etched, prismatic, white, and doubly-terminated.  The calcites are nice with the large one in the first image having one broken termination.  3 x 2.7 x 1.7 cm.  The overall condition of the piece is good.  $25

OKQ-139    Celestine and Calcite     Chittenango Falls, Madison County, New York.  Ex. John Davis collection.  There are two blocky crystals composing the bulk of this 2.7 x 2.5 x 1.8 cm piece.  It is in excellent condition viewing well from any direction.  $65

John Davis collection.  This single crystal has very high luster, great form, and is lightly striated.  It measures 2.3 x 2.1 x 2.1 cm and is in excellent condition showing only two very tiny rubs.  Displays great from any direction.  $40

John Davis collection.  This single crystal has very high luster, great form, and is lightly striated.  It measures 2.4 x 2.3 x 2.2 cm and is in excellent condition showing only the very finest of edge fraying.  Displays great from any direction.  $40

OKQ-143      Pyrite     Leonard Mine, Butte, Silver Bow Co., Montana.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This is an excellent example for this historic locality.  The piece measures 2.5 x 2.1 x 2 cm and is composed of modified cubes that show moderate striations on their surfaces.  One tiny rider crystal is chipped and there are a couple of cracks that seem to be stable.  Excellent condition overall.  $95

KQ-144      Heulandite      Uper New Street Quarry, Paterson, New Jersey.  Ex. John Davis collection.  Very translucent, lustrous crystals of heulandite to 1.2 cm each compose this 4.3 x 2.6 x 1.6 cm piece.  It is a plate that is a botryoidal cast on its underside.  Damage-free.  $40

OKQ-145    Bixbyite on Topaz     Thomas Range, Juab County, Utah.  Ex. John Davis collection.  Approcimately a half dozen well exposed bixbyite cubes rest on topaz crystal in this 3 x 2.2 x 2 cm specimen.  Numerous topaz are heavily included appearing white in color but some are clean and champagne colored.  Several topaz are cleaved off but not easily noticed without magnification.  $45

OKQ-146      Gypsum     Pt. Augusta, South Australia, Australia.  Ex. John Davis collection.  A 2.6 x 2 x 1.9 cm cluster of sand included bladed compose this specimen.  It has two small cleaves but is in good condition, overall.  $20

OKQ-147    Calcite and Celestine     Chittenango Falls, Madison County, New York.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This 3.8 x 3.7 x 2.7 cm grouping shows damage on both sides, as seen.  It is however a piece from a well known, long closed locality.  $15

OKQ-149      Herkimer Diamond      Fonda.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This piece measures 3 x2.5 x 1.7 cm and shows a nice water-clear crystal on quartz druse.  The main crystal has an edge chip as seen.  It still displays quite nicely.    $15

John Davis collection.  This 3.5 x 2.7 x 2.1 cm grouping has one nice, doubly-terminated. blue celestine amongst many calcites.  The piece is in excellent condition with only one calcite showing a very thin tip cleave.  Displays nicely from numerous views.  $55

John Davis collection.  This stocky single crystal measures 3 x 2.5 x 2 cm and shows some chips and rubs, as seen.  Overall it is a nice large example with interior fracturing but also gemmy areas and a rich yellow color. $35

OKQ-152    Celestine     Chittenango Falls, Madison County, New York.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This 3 x 2.8 x 1.2 cm single crystal has a nice blue color, moderate luster and multiple terminations on one end.  It has large contact marks from other crystals but no damage.  Displays nicely from numerous views.  A nice large example form a closed locality.  $50
