OKN-680     Cavansite        Wagholi Quarries, Wagholi, Pune District, Maharashtra, India.  A fantastic vertically positioned piece with a flat base and sculpted back that looks very natural.  The cavansites are exceptionally bright in color, damage free and with minor calcite rhombs.  The specimen is simply gorgeous.  At 11 x 6.6 x 5 cm it is also substantial in size.  Comes with a custom engraved acrylic base.  $900

OKI-215     Gyrolite on and in Calcite Twins     Poona, India.  An impressive specimen when one takes a moment to consider all that is here.  The primary crystal is a floater with a minor region of contact on bottom from where it looks to have been attached against some gyrolite or okenite.  There is also a chunk missing but the specimen sits on this area so the specimen displays like a floater and is certainly an impressive twin.  It measures 6.5 x 6.2 x 4.5 cm and is clear with minor inclusions including well formed balls of gyrolite.  Numerous larger gyrolites also appear on the surface of the crystal.  Displays great from all sides.  Outstanding Indian calcite!  220$

OKN-358     Petarasite    Trench in the floor at De-Mix Quarry, Mt. St. Hilaire, Quebec, Canada.  Ex Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  A rare find in a somewhat morphed crystal on the typical St. Hilaire mix of minerals.  3.6 x 2.7 x 2.5 cm overall.  A nice example at a fair price.  $95

OKN-359

OKN-359     Quartz Faden    Wana, South Waziristan, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan.  This is a fantastic piece for this rather common material.  It is composed of tabular crystals that are all double terminated.  There is only one small contact area at the base of the larges crystal on the edge.  Not even noticeable.  Very distinct faden lines in all the crystals (why bother owning a faden if you can’t see this development clearly?!).  7 x 3.1 x 2.2 cm overall.  $65
