We take great pride in being active field collectors of New York State mineral specimens.  In fact, this is probably the most enjoyable part of our year....when the weather is nice enough we spend our time in the field hunting for crystallized minerals.  The majority of our specimens in all of these categories are self collected or from old collections.  For many collectors of fine mineral specimens the term "Self Collected" means "Junk".  That will not be the case with our materials.  We are professional specimen miners using the proper technology and machinery to harvest minerals correctly.
