OKM-885      Calcite     Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia.  Ex. Harold L. Dibble collection.  This is the nicest Tsumeb calcite in the collection.  Nice and large, showy with crystals stacked up high and in parallel growth, mottramite inclusions and coatings in areas, and simple wonderful aesthetics.  13.3 x 10 x 9.1 cm.  Rhombs are modified, not cleaved, only one tiny cleave of a couple millimeters found with magnification.  It displays as damage free from any view and all views are nice.  High luster!  Nice piece of impressive quality.  $750

Back

OKM-886        "Quartz Gwindel"     Northern Ural Mountains, Russia.  Ex. Harold L. Dibble collection.  14.4 x 11 x 5.1 cm open gwindel.  One small tip is dinged and back has chlorite overgrowths over approximately half the back prevents one from seeing through those areas clearly so it is certainly not the "perfect" specimen that everyone wants from this location.  The up side is it will be far more affordable than what one would expect for an enormous  crystal of this habit.  The twist is obvious, most of the piece is gemmy and the luster is good.  $750
