OKQ-532      Columbite     Strickland Quarry, Portland, Connecticut.  Ex. Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  This large sample is almost all columbite and measures 2.5 x 1.8 x 1.4 cm.  Its surface has metallic gray crystals of what appears to be hematite or magnetite.  The large columbite crystals are free of damage although the show some cracks (these are stable).  Classic New England material.  $175

Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  This specimen measures 2.5 x 2.5 x 1 cm.  There is a large curved dolomite that takes up much of the interior of this small vug.  The pyrites are tiny.  No damage.  Mounted in a perky box.   $35

OKQ-537    Chabazite on Calcite     Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  Circ. 1963.  The plate here is coated on the front by nice calcites and couple nice salmon colored chabazites.  The back also has nice calcite crystallization along its top region.  No damage.  $50

Aquamarine) and Schorl    Erongo Mountain, Karibib, Erongo Region, Namibia, Africa.  This crystal measures 4 x .9 x .8 cm overall.  It is a doubly-terminated piece with a small rider crystal on the back.  The rider has damage but the primary crystal is very fine and complete.  Minor schorl on termination.  $75

OKQ-545      Quartz with Rutile       Brazil.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection, circ. 1962.  This cluster is composed of smoky quartz in the lower crystals and light purple in the larger, upper crystals.  The rutile blends in well and is not obvious.  There is damage to one smaller crystal.  An unusual color combination to see with rutile.  $65

Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection, circ. 1963.  This is a nice example with good luster and form.  Everything is terminated less a contact and chip on the back of piece.  Minor termination rubs.  The piece measures 3.8 x 2 x 1.8 cm.  $30

OKQ-548    Quartz and Dolomite    Grant Quarry, Greely, Ontario, Canada.    Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This 1.7 cm Herkimer-like quartx crystal sits amongst dolomite crystals on dolostone matrix.  The piece measures 3.6 x 2.8 x 1.4 cm and has no damage.  $25

OKQ-550     Pyromorphite with Quartz     Red Gill Mine, Caldbeck Fells, Cumbria, England.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This is a ball shaped piece measuring 3.5 x 3.2 x 2.5 cm.  The crystals on front are decent while ones elsewhere show damage.  The complete crystals are green, translucent to transparent and exceptionally lustrous.  $30.
