Mineral Specimens For Sale From the Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia, South West Africa

One of the most desired minerals from Tsumeb are the fine azurites and their pseudomorphs.  These azurites are universally agreed upon as being the finest in the world, reaching fantastic sizes and having the brightest blue color and high luster.

OKD-325   Azurite   Tsumeb, S.W. Africa .  Ex. Nancy Collins Collection.   Deep blue high luster grouping of azurite crystals in an aesthetic display.  One large crystal is missing in this fine group.  Still a very displayable piece with lots of character.  Main crystal is 4 cm while the entire piece measures 5 x 3 x 1.7 cm.   950$

OKH-624    Azurite and other minerals    Tsumeb, Namibia, Africa.  Ex.  Paul and Dawne Dunning Collection.   Previously a Smithsonian Institution specimen.  This cabinet size specimen measures 8 cm x 5.7 cm x 3.5 cm.  Most of the azurite crystals are in an area approximately 5 cm.  Much of the remaining piece however, has been crystallization.  There is lots to see here under magnification.  In its own right this specimen is a good display piece with no damage.  Although the crystals in general are small this specimen is a desirable one.  $250

OKI-497     Azurite   SOLD  Tsumeb, Namibia.  Ex.
