OKN-681

OKN-681      Powellite on Stilbite     Jalgaon Distric, Maharashtra, India.  A fine bipyramidal crystal measuring 2 cm on edge in stilbite 5.5 x 4 x 4 cm.  Minor tabular, clear apophyllites.  The tip of the powellite may have a tiny rub which I see with 10x.  Even at this high a magnification it looks natural, so it is hard to say.  It is not distracting and displays nicely.  I have priced it as if it were slightly damaged so I believe it is a steal at the price offered.  Comes with a custom engraved acrylic base.   $650

OKN-683      Powellite with Apophyllite     Jalgaon Distric, Maharashtra, India.  A pair of tip dings change this from a 4K specimen into what it is... a bargain for someone willing to overlook minor damage.  4.5 x 3.5 x 2.7 cm overall with high luster crystals of both species.  The powellites are exceptional examples for color, luster, form, and transparency.  Comes with a custom engraved acrylic base.  $450

OKN-667

I have cleaned this specimen and it has been improved nicely.

OKN-667     Pyrrohotite    Dal地egorsk, Kavalerovo Mining District, Priorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia.  These have become classics and are universally recognized as some of the finest for the species.  This example measures 7.3 x 5.1 x 4.5 cm and is a large, double terminated, complex, single crystal.  It is complete all around with only a couple of small contacts.  It has the expected luster/ patina.  The accessory is quartz.  A very fine example.  $200

OKN-668

OKN-668     Galena and Sphalerite    Dal地egorsk, Kavalerovo Mining District, Priorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia.  The galenas are lustrous cuboctahedrons to 1.7 cm each and dominate this domical piece.  In the boundaries between crystals can be found dark sphalerite in unusual parallel growth coatings and crystals.  The specimen is in excellent condition with no damage and only minor base/edge contact.  5.5 x 5.2 x 3.6 cm.  The bottom is even well crystallized.  $75

OKN-673     Fluorite on Quartz     Dal地egorsk, Kavalerovo Mining District, Priorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia.  Beautiful, lustrous, water clear cubes on quartz matrix.  The cubes have multiple forms modifying their shapes.  This one measures 7.6 x 4.2 x 4 cm overall with crystals to 2 cm on edge.  The fluorites sit up high and are really quite brilliant.  No damage.  $80

OKN-674

OKN-674     Galena     Dal地egorsk, Kavalerovo Mining District, Priorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia.  This is a highly morphed specimen as can be seen in the images.  Almost no crystal form, in the traditional sense, but it is fully crystallized on all sides.  No damage, lustrous, looks like a melted and then solidified piece of metal.  9.8 x 6.5 x 4 cm overall.  Probably one single crystal and very likely spinel law twinned.  $35
