OKP-835     Malachite   RESERVED   Brown's Prospect, Rum Jungle, Australia.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This piece is a floater that is free of any damage and measures 4.5 x 3.2 x 2 cm is size.  It is composed of six slightly flattened balls of malachite crystals.  This well known material has always been difficult to get and is seldom seen any more.  $75

OKP-836      Quartz      Ron Coleman's Mine, near Hot Springs, Arkansas.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This 5.6 x 4 x 2.7 cm cluster is a floater with very minimal damage (only a couple of points missing).  It has spectacular clarity, form, and luster.  $45

OKP-837     Quartz    Valentine Mine, (Gouverneur Talc #4 Mine), Harrisville, Lewis County, New York.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This cluster is dominated by a highly included (by tremolite and hematite), doubly-terminated crystal.  The piece measures 6.6 x 4.2 x 2.8 cm and is in excellent condition with only a small, shallow ding on the back of piece.  Some transparent secondary quartz growth on one terminal face as seen in the close-up.  $70

OKP-838     Quartz and Mica     Butte County, California.  Ex. John Davis collection.  I am unfamiliar with a quartz locality in this area... the piece appears to be from a granitic pegmatite.  It measures 8 x 5.3 x 5 cm and is composed ot transparent smoky quartz on a feldspar and mica matrix.  It is in excellent condition with minor rubs as seen.  $40

OKP-839      Gypsum    Sahara Desert, Africa.  This specimen is most likely from the northern part of the continent (Morocco).  It measures 11.4 x 7 x 6.8 cm.  It is aesthetically formed and only has a couple dings which are in no way distracting, as can be seen.  $60

OKP-840     Calcite, Chalcopyrite, Dolomite     Sweetwater Mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds County, Missouri.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This piece measures 7 x 4.1 x 3.8 cm and is dominated by a very complex, yellow, transparent to translucent calcite.  No damage and nice luster which is not apparent in the images.  $50

OKP-842    Barite on Fluorite shards    Cave-In-Rock, Hardin County, Illinois.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This damage-free floater measures 6 x 4.3 x 2.7 cm.  It is very high in luster and composed of sprays of translucent, white crystals of chips of fluorite.  All healed and fully formed.  It sits nicely viewing fine from any direction.  A wonderful miniature.  $75

OKP-843     Silver      RESERVED    San Femando Mine, Zecatecas, Mexico.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This specimen shows massed of intergrown silver crystals within calcite.  It measures 7 x 6 x 5.7 and is deceivingly heavy.  Excellent condition and very displayable.  $150

OKP-844     Dolomite    Cicero, Onondaga County, New York.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This is a small example of this uncommon material that measures 5 x 2 x 1. 4 cm.  This beautiful string of transparent dolomites is damage free and aesthetic, for dolomite.  The piece sits nicely on its base contact.  $45

John Davis collection.  John field collected these crystals long ago when they were being found loose in the soil.  They are slightly radioactive and fine examples rarely seen in available in today's mineral market.  This grouping measures 4 x 1.8 x 1.5.  The individual crystals have nice form and are damage free.  The piece is somewhat stalactitic in form.  $70

John Davis collection.  John field collected these crystals long ago when they were being found loose in the soil.  They are slightly radioactive and fine examples rarely seen in available in today's mineral market.  This one measures 2.2 x 1.8 x 1.8 cm.  The fluorapatite runs through the middle of the base of the specimen.  All the betafites are well formed, complete, and damage free.  $125

John Davis collection.  John field collected these crystals long ago when they were being found loose in the soil.  They are slightly radioactive and fine examples rarely seen in available in today's mineral market.  This one measures 2.4 x 2.2 x 2.2 cm.  The fluorapatite is incomplete and the specimen is free of damage.  I would consider this a specimen that is as good as a TN betafite as one could find.  It is a floater that views nicely from any direction.  $240
