OKN-465     Quartz     Jeffrey Mine, Little Rock, Arkansas.  Very unusual for the location a floater with a distinct Faden line running its length.  5.8 x 1.5 x .8 cm overall, composed of double terminated crystals with zero damage.  Minor oxide staining on one end.  $100








OKN-467     Wulfenite     Los Lomentos, Chihuahua, Mexico.  Thick, very high luster crystals of butterscotch wulfenite to almost 1 cm on edge each.  The plate measures 7 x 5.3 x 3 cm.  Edges show contact with a couple broken crystals right on the edges.  Everything in the body of the specimen is very clean and damage free.  Minor Styrofoam on base.  Attractive and desirable piece.  $150








OKN-468     Dravite     Pech, Nuristan, Loghman, Afghanistan.  6.7 x 3.2 x 3 cm tapering, double terminated black tourmaline.  No contacts or damage, interesting form and terminations and high luster.  $75








OKN-471     Calcite    Berry Minerals Quarry, North Vernon, Jennings County, Indiana.  A nice cluster of crystals measuring 7.6 x 5.7 x 4.2 cm.  Base contact is healed, floater with minor matrix as seen.  High luster and only one tiny cleave and a couple tiny internal bruises.  Overall nice condition.  $45








OKN-472     Fluorite     Newlandside Quarry, Stanhope, Weardale, Durham, England.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  5.5 x 4.2 x 2.5 cm dome of twins and single cubes.  One twin in the center has a tiny chip seen with 10x magnification otherwise in nice condition.  Attractive with a high luster and excellent crystal transparency.  $40

OKN-475    Topaz on Feldspar with Magnetite?     Pakistan.  A 7.5 x 5.7 x 3 cm domical plate of crystals.  Numerous small light sherry colored, gem topaz crystals of nice luster and form scattered about on low luster feldspar crystals.  Good example at a low price.  $60








OKN-477    Wulfenite     Red Cloud Mine, La Paz County, Arizona.  6 x 5.2 x 2.7 cm plate of matrix with one area of larger crystals to 1.5 cm each.  Smaller rider crystal has a micro chip otherwise in fine condition.  Bright red and of the expected high luster for the location.  $50








OKM-915     Fluorite on Sphalerite    Danville, Kentucky.  A mix of small, light purple, transparent fluorite cubes on lustrous sphalerite.  3.9 x 2.6 x 1.9 cm.  Zero damage.  $20








OKM-917     Fluorite    Nakaye Mine, Sierra County, New Mexico.  A cluster of translucent cubes to .8 cm each measuring 2.5 x 2.3 x 2.1 cm total.  No damage and almost a floater with only one contact that looks to be healed.  $20









OKM-918    Calcite      Carthage Mine, Elmwood, Tennessee.  An attractive, high luster group of yellow/ amber crystals on white barite.  3.9 x 2.8 x 2 cm with no damage.  $25

OKN-451    Calcite   Lowville, Lewis County, New York.  Ex. Dawne and Paul Dunning collection.  This is from the old historic find right in the town, not the contemporary material… you can tell this because the matrix is fluorite.  4.5 x 4.5 x 3.2 cm group with one large, whitish gray, translucent “nail head” form calcite.  Peripheral damage but the main crystal is spotless.  Very uncommon material!!  $35









OKN-452    Calcite   Lowville, Lewis County, New York.  Ex. Dawne and Paul Dunning collection.  This is from the old historic find right in the town, not the contemporary material… you can tell this because the matrix.  5.7 x 4.7 x 3.6 cm group with several large, whitish gray, translucent “nail head” form calcites.  Minor peripheral/ contact damage but the main crystals are in excellent condition.  Very uncommon material!!  $100









OKN-453    Groutite  on Calcite  Wintergreen Mine, Talcville, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Ex. Dawne and Paul Dunning collection.  A mall vug of nicely formed, poorly cleaned crystals.  Vinegar dip will cure this!  6 x 4 x 3.4 cm.  $20








OKN-455    Diopside     Calvin Mitchell Farm, DeKalb, St. Lawrence County, New York.  5 x 4 x 3.1 cm cluster with crystals to 2.4 cm each.  Gemmy areas, good green color typical of the material from this historic find.  Crystal contact on face of large crystal.  No damage.  $30









OKN-454    Gypsum on Calcite    Mapimi, Durango, Mexico.  One tiny clear gypsum standing up in a grouping of calcite rhombs.  4.6 x 3.8 x 2.3 cm.  Edge contacts.  The gypsum can be seen in the first image, central lower section between the two big calcite crystals.  It is a side view of a tabular crystals.  Excellent condition.  $25








OKN-457    Copper    Santa Rita, New Mexico.  An unusual location and example.  Very nicely formed crystal in a snake like stack with two unknown accessories.  White crystals and tiny black crystals. 4.9 cm long.  No damage.  $95








OKN-458    Wulfenite and Mimetite on Barite    Rowley Mine, near Theba, Arizona.  A wonderful little miniature measuring 3.9 x 3.2 x 1.8 cm.  The orange wulfenites have surrounding orange mimetites but are unusual in that they are on white barite (an excellent contrast).  No damage.  $45









OKN-459    Descloizite    Berg Aukas, Grootfontein, Africa.  An impressive, high luster example with only the tiniest of base contacts and no damage.  In hand it looks like a floater.  3.7 x 3.2 x 1.3 cm.  Nice!  $70
