OKQ-911     Quartz     Pecos River Valley, Southeastern New Mexico.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This is a large example of a "Pecos Diamond" that measures 3.4 x 3 x 2.8 cm.  Nice coloration, luster and form.  Some minor rubs but overall in excellent condition.  $30

OKQ-912        Celestine      Martin Marietta Quarry, Woodville, Ohio.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  Several chisel shaped crystals of transparent celestine have white balls of what appears to be strontianite on their surfaces.  No damage to this 2.7 x 2 x 1.1 cm.  Mounted in a perky box.  $35

OKQ-913     Diopside      Dog Lake, Storrington Township, Frontenac County, Ontario, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This is an excellent floater free of any damage or problems.  It is large, for a thumbnail, at 4 x 2.2 x 2 cm.  Certainly one of the nicest pieces I've seen for this size from the locality.  Minor blue minerals putty on back.  $85

Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This is an excellent single terminated crystals with a smaller doubly-terminated rider on its side.  It is large, for a thumbnail, at 3 x 2.6 x 2.1 cm.  No damage  $40

OKQ-915     Spinel and Forsterite     Parker Mine, Notre Dame du Laus, Québec, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  This is a fine example from the locality that measures in at 2 x 1.7 x 1.5 cm.  Zero damage.  Both the species are doubly-terminated and equally nice.  The forsterite crystals from this locality are normally rather poor.  Lightly mounted in a perky box... easy to remove.     $55

Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This is an excellent floater free of any damage or problems.  It is large, for a thumbnail, at 3.2 x 2.4 x 2.2 cm.  Minor blue minerals putty on back.  A very nice piece.  $45

OKQ-917     Cerussite     Mibladen, Morocco.  This beauty measures 3.5 x 2.7 x 2 cm.  It is composed of a large complex crystal as a base that is gray in color.  It is transparent and has a rusty looking coating in places that simply wipes off (I did not notice this before photographing...water and a tooth brush will remove it all).  The second generation of cerussite is water clear and forms small reticulated growths on the first generation crystal.  No damage and only the smallest of contacts on the base.  A very high quality specimen.  $350

OKQ-918      Calcite     Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  This botryoidal cluster of cream colored crystal aggregates measures 2.6 x 2 x 1.5 cm.  There is no damage and even the edges are outstanding.  Mounted in a perky box.  $30

OKQ-919      Cerussite     Mibladen, Morocco.  This piece is a cluster of crystals that measures 3.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm.  It has no damage and is consistent in its color and translucence.  $75

OKQ-920     Cobaltite      Espanola, Ontario, Canada.  This piece has one complete cube of the rare mineral cobaltite sitting high on matrix.  Another broken crystal is embedded in the matrix (seen in second image to the left).  The entire specimen measures 1.9 x 1.8 x 1.5 cm.  The primary cube is well exposed and damage-free.  $145

OKQ-921    Smithsonite and Tennantite      Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia.  Ex. Thomas Fowler collection.  The transparent smithsonite crystals seen here rest on two balls of dark gray tennantite.  There was a second grouping that is broken of.  The remaining group is damage-free and stands of the matrix in high relief.  The piece measures 2.5 x 1.7 x 1.5 cm.  Mounted in a perky box, as seen.   $25

OKQ-922    Smithsonite and Quartz      Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia.  Ex. Thomas Fowler collection.  This 3.4 x 2.4 x 1.8 cm piece shows a bed of bright quartz with several tabular, transparent, slightly pink colored crystal of smithsonite mixed in.  They are tough to even see... there are a couple on tennantite on the bottom of the specimen also that are easier to find.  No damage.  Mounted in a perky box, as seen.   $25

OKQ-923    Smithsonite      Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia.  Ex. Thomas Fowler collection.  The transparent, slightly gray colored smithsonite crystals seen here form a stalactite shaped grouping.  The crystals are all in excellent condition having no damage. OKQ-924     Quartz casts after Anhydrite with Laumontite and Stilbite     Prospect Park, Paterson, New Jersey.  Ex. Thomas Fowler collection.  This piece measures 2.4 x 2.1 x 1.5 cm and is composed of several quartz casts with coatings of white laumontite as small needles.  They are stable.  The stilbite is obvious on the upper parts of the piece as single and doubly-terminated transparent blades.  Mounted in a perky box, as seen.   $30

OKQ-926    Fluorite and Quartz on Galena and Sphalerite    Rt #25 Road Cut, Trumble, Connecticut.  Ex. Thomas Fowler collection.  This 2.2 x 2 x 1.3 cm piece has attractive gray, transparent cubes of fluorite on the other mentioned species.  No damage.  Mounted in a perky box, as seen.  $30

OKQ-927      Grossular (Hessonite)     Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Québec, Canada.  Ex. Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  The piece has several tiny and one larger garnet of outstanding color, luster, transparency and form.  Crystals like this are what the quarry is so famous for.  The piece measures 2.5 x 1.7 x .6 cm.  No damage.  Mounted in a perky box, as seen.  $50
