OKQ-870     Amethyst        Thunder Bay Ontario, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  These are referred to as "Amethyst Buttons" and this on measures 4 x 2.5 x 1.3 cm.  It is composed of doubly-terminated crystals that are grown in a cluster.  There are edge contacts on most sides and some rubbing on both sides, as seen.  $25

OKQ-871     Pyrite      Showalter Quarry, Blueball, Lancaster County, PA.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  This floater measures 2.2 x 1.4 x 1.4 along its edges.  There is minor chatter on two edges as seen.  Mounted in a perky box.    $35

OKQ-872     Spessartine     Ely, White Pine County, Nevada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  This tabular garnet group measures 1.7 x 1.1 x .7 cm.  No damage, fine luster and form.  $35

OKQ-873       Vesuvianite on Grossular     Lake Joco, Mexico.  This prolific garnet locality is well known for nice specimens but not for crystals of this odd shape.  The crystal is pseudo-cubic with dodecahedral modifications.  It is large for a thumbnail measuring in at 2.5 cm, on average, along its edges.  Small brown vesuvianites dot some of its surfaces.  Great luster and condition.  $50

  OKQ-874      Topaz       RESERVED      Government Pit, Carroll County, New Hampshire.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  This topaz crystal is transparent and has slightly frosted surfaces.  It measures 1.4 x 1.1 x .6 cm and is mounted in a perky box.  Front, sides, and top surfaces are nice.  Back has an unattractive contact.  Excellent form.  This is a desirable New England specimen.  $65

OKQ-875     Grossular     Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Québec, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  The cluster seen here measures 2 x 1.4 x 1 cm and is damage free.  It is a very light cinnamon color and is more attractive than the images indicate.  $35

OKQ-876     Zircon     MacDonald Quarry, Hybla, Monteagle Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  This somewhat parallel growth grouping of doubly-terminated crystals measures 2.5 x 2 x 1.2 cm.  There are a couple regions having no crystallized faces due to old contacts but overall there are lots of well-formed faces.  Desirable zircon specimens like this have become difficult to find.  $75

OKQ-877    Anatase pseudomrph after Titanite      RESERVED      Cardiff Mine, Wilberforce, Ontario, Canada.    Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  Historically this material was call leucoxene or leucoxenite.  The piece here is a nice fully terminated crystal of titanite that is partially replaced by anatase.  It measures 3.3 x 3 x 1.2 cm and shows about 80% alteration on back and 10 to 20% alteration on its front side (first image).  No damage to this fine floater.  Luster is better in-hand.  $80

OKQ-878    Calcite     Grant Quarry, Greely, Ontario, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  This is a yellow, transparent single crystal without the typical phantoms for which the locality is well known.  It measures 3.3 x 2 x 1.4 cm.  No damage, nice luster and form.  $25

OKQ-879       Fluorite    Catron County, New Mexico.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  This example is interesting that some of the crystals have been broken and well healed into this 3.7 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm piece.  The base (first generation) crystals are green and second generation octahedra a grape purple color.  No damage.  $45

OKQ-880      Grossular      Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Québec, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  Collected in 1982 by Bob Johnson.  This small cluster measures 2 x 1.7 x 1.1 cm and is composed of the rare clear crystals... normally from this location they are cinnamon colored.  This group only has base contact so it views nicely from any direction showing no damage.  Mounted, as seen, in a perky box.  Great example.  $95

OKQ-881     Quartz, Feldspar, Goethite     Lake George, Park County, Colorado.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  This interesting combination piece measures 3.2 x 2.6 x 1.6 cm.  On the edge of the quartz is a lustrous spray of primary goethite crystals.  The feldspars are light blue, on back and a minor accessory.  No damage.  One naturally healed crack in the quartz.  $35

OKQ-882      Sphalerite    Faylor-Middlecreek Quarry, Winfield, Union County, PA.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  This partial crystal measures 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm.  No damage to main faces but strong edge breakage as it is only a partial crystal.  $15

OKQ-886    Calcite on Dolomite      ST. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  Attractive stalactites of these species are rare from this location... I don't ever remember seeing another.  This one measures 3 x 2 x 2 cm and is damage-free.  $40

OKQ-887    Edingtonite      RESERVED     Ice River, near Golden, British Columbia, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  There are two small clusters seen here to 1.4 cm each that are lightly mounted in a perky box.  Nice damage-free groupings of transparent crystals.  $40

OKQ-888    Zircon     Haliburton, Ontario, Canada.  Collected by Michael Walter from a road outcrop on Camp Road, 1992.  This 1.6 x 1.2 x 1.1 cm single crytal is a nice hyacinth color and has god luster.  No damage.  $45

OKQ-889     Polylithionite, Analcime, Natrolite, Ageirine, etc.     De-Mix Quarry, Mt. St-Hilaire, Québec, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  There is a lot to see here... the cluster measures 3.5 x 2.7 x 1.9 cm.  Nicely formed, damage-free crystals spraying out in numerous directions.  $45
