OKP-870     Unknown pseudomorph after Sphalerite with Quartz and Pyrite       Huaron, Peru.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This is an attractive, balanced specimen that exhibits a prismatic sphalerite twin within a nest of quartz and pyrite.  The sphalerite is mostly replaced by a hard green mineral.  Top and backside views show that some of the crystal is not replaced.  The only damage is that several small quartz crystals are clipped off.  The piece measures 5.8 x 4 x 3.2 cm and displays great.  $175
