OKQ-649      Chabazite on Quartz and Babingtonite?       Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  These fine chabazites are a light salmon color, water clear or in some cases both in one crystal.  The piece measures 3 x 1.7 x 1 cm.  The quartz crystals are clear an there is the black mineral...babingtonite, I would assume, maybe a very dark epidote.  No damage.  $45

OKQ-650     Andradite     Cornwall Iron Mines, Cornwall, Lebanon County, PA.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This nice example measures 2 x 1.9 x 1.9 cm.  It appears to be a floater with no damage.  $35

OKQ-651     Apophyllite     Cornwall Iron Mines, Cornwall, Lebanon County, PA.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This 2.1 x 2 x 1.9 cm ball of gemmy bladed apophyllite crystals is a floater with no damage.  The is a tiny bit of Styrofoam on base.  A beautiful example from a historic U.S. locality.  $65

OKQ-652       Apophyllite      Sillman's Quarry, Woodbury, Connecticut.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  These are water clear crystals, some resting on prehnite creating the light green tint seen.  The piece measures 3.3 x 2 x 1.7 cm, it is damage-free, and it is mounted, as seen, in a perky box.  $40

OKQ-653     Pyrite        RESERVED      Road Cut in Rt. #89, between Northfield and Montpelier, Vermont.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This unusually shaped example measures 1.8 x .7 x .7 cm.  It is a floater with one chipped edge seen in the last image.  $35

OKQ-654      Beryl        Palermo #1 Mine, Groton, Grafton County, New Hampshire.  Here is something almost never seen, a complete, undamaged beryl from this historic locality.  Remember these are broken out of solid rock not pulled from open cavities.  That are almost never complete like this one.  The piece measures 3 x 2.5 x 1.4 cm.  The luster is excellent and the surfaces are very clean and well-formed.  A rare U.S. thumbnail specimen.  $250

KQ-655     Strontianite on Celestine        Wise County, Virginia.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This piece contains two nice cream colored strontianite balls on gemmy calcites.  No damage.  The piece is 3.3 x 2.8 x 1.5 cm and is mounted nicely in a perky box.  $50

OKQ-657      Quartz       Fox Hollow, Huntington County, PA.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This piece measures 3 x 1 x 1 cm, is doubly-terminated and has a nice luster.  The back is incomplete as can be seen in the third image.  $30
