Purchases and Payment  When you find a specimen(s) that you wish to purchase you can contact us at Geologic Desires or phone us at (315) 323-7218 or send your order through the "snail mail" to Geologic Desire, P.O. Box 137, Nicholville, NY 12965. Please provide us with the specimen number, country it is from and price.  We will calculate the shipping and handling charges and get back to you promptly with the total cost of your order.  If you want us to hold a specimen, or specimens, we will be happy to do so for 10 days, longer for established customers.  A minimum of $6 to cover shipping, insurance and handling is required on any order.  The final total will be confirmed with you if an e-mail address is provided.  All prices are in U. S. dollars.  7.25% sales tax applies to New York State residents.  If you are a new customer, or are wishing to make a purchase by personal check, there may be a short wait until the check clears. We accept credit cards but only when you go through PayPal.  Do not provide us with your credit card information. 

Shipping   We make a habit of processing orders within 24 hours and shipping by Priority Mail.  We prefer Priority Mail on domestic orders and will not use other carriers such as UPS or Federal Express so please do not request their use.  We have shipped for decades and have sent parcels to almost every part of the world.  We know what we are doing.  We are meticulous packers and seldom have specimens arrive damaged or not at all.  International shipments sent uninsured are done so at the recipients risk.  Both international and domestic shipping done by Priority Mail have proven extremely reliable.

Western Union offers a variety of payment methods and can be a good choice for international payments. Contact me if you would like to use Western Union to make a payment.  

Our Guarantee    When you receive your specimens we want you to be happy. If you are not satisfied you may return the specimens within 10 days for a full refund of their cost. We refund the cost of the specimens, NOT the shipping.  Dealer inquiries are welcome, however, discounts beyond the adverted price(s) are seldom offered.  Prices are subject to change without notice.
